OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Here are the meaning of the different types of movements of figures in which we mention in mathematics: transalation- moving without rotating glide reflection- is a fancy way of saying slide reflection- a transformation of a shape. The middle line is the mirror line rotation- a circular movement of a figure Choose the one that best represents your movement of the figure.

so it is glaide reflection

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Well a glide reflection will have the same shape and also with the same figure if you understand what I mean. Since it is a slide. So I think that it is incorrect. Try again.

my gut is saying it is reflection

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Well I would say it is a rotation because it has rotated 90 degrees clockwise.

oh ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

No problem. :)

can i ask u other question if u dont mind?

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Which rule will bring the taxicab back to its starting position? A (x, y) (x - 3, y - 5) B (x, y) (x - 5, y - 3) C (x, y) (x + 3, y + 5) D (x, y) (x + 5, y + 3) my answer is C I am not sure if im right
