log 2 + log x = log 3
How would I cancel out the logs??
the base number is 10.

You need to use log properties and combine 2 of those logs if you can. Once you have your logs as only two terms, use the fact that when you set two logs of the same base equal to each other, then you only need to set the numbers themselves equal to each other.
