Describe how to transform the graph of f into the graph of g. f(x) = x^2 and g(x) = -(-x)^2

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Try dividing g(x) by f(x). What do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The graph shifts left one unit. Reflect the graph of f across the y-axis and then reflect across the x-axis. Reflect the graph of f across the y-axis. Reflect the graph of f across the x-axis.

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

its a double reflection....option B of course since f(x) is a parabola it is symmetric about y-axis so essentially it looks no different than if you only reflected across x-axis
