Hint: all four sides of a rhombus are congruent. This allows you to solve for x and hence find the perimeter.

11 + 1 = 7x - 5x
12 = 2x
6 = x

now sub 6 into either 5x + 1 or 7x - 11 to find the measurement of a side
5x + 1
5(6) + 1
