Slope is how much the graph rises, or falls by; divided by how much it moves to the right or left. So let's pick two points on the graph. Give me a sec, I'm going to draw it.

Those are the two points I picked, you can pick any other points (as long as they're on the line), and get the same answer as mine. So now let's look at the rise (keep in mind, the graph always goes from left to right.

As you can see, as we move along from left to right, the graph is actually falling.
