This question has been asked before but i was very confused. So if anyone could help me I would appreciate it. Given Sinx=3/5 and x is in quadrant 2, what is the value of tan(x/2)??

if it in quadrant 2 then it will b sin x=-3/5

if sinx=3/5 can you figure out what is cosx by using sin^x+cos^x=1 or you can just simply draw a pic to figure out what is the adjacent side is by using Pythagorean theorem
then use half angle identities after you know both sinx and cosx
