Why do you think it's B?
My first guess would be A because uranium mining most likely produces waste which renders land unfit for food production. But i'm nog 100% sure either.

They use a lot of water in uranium mining because the dust produces in the mining process could be dangerous (due to the risk of miners inhaling the radioactive stuff). The uranium ore isn't processed yet either so I don't think the radiation is the biggest problem.
