The shorter leg of a 30°-60°-90° triangle is 18. What is the length of the hypotenuse?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the sides are in the proprotions \[1:\sqrt{3}: 2\] 1 is the shorter leg, sq rt of 3 is the longer leg and 2 is the hypoteneuse

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

|dw:1375072297762:dw| so since your shorter side is 18...the hypotenuse = 2 times that... so 18 * 2 = ?
