I'm not going to tell you the answer directly. Rather than doing your test for you, I suggest that you review the conjugation for the present tense of ser. Once you do, the answer should be pretty clear.

"Ser" means "to be." We need to conjugate it (change it) into the correct form, to fit each sentence. There are many different forms of "ser." Here's a list of all of them. Do yourself a favor and memorize it. Your life will be easier. (Yo) SOY (Tu) ERES (El/Ella/Usted) ES (Nosotros) SOMOS (Ellos/Ellas/Ustedes) SON MEMORIZE it. Trust me, it shouldn't take more than like 10 minutes to memorize. And the rest of your Spanish class will be that much easier for it. Those words that I put in parentheses, they're subjects. Do you know what they mean in English?
