Does anyone know of a way to get credits for taking this class or any opencourse for that matter? Also since this is opencourse is there anywhere to turn in assignments?
A few open courses do have a credit system, not many. However, a big change is on the horizon. University of Wisconsin Flexible Option http://flex.wisconsin.edu/ You learn wherever, however. Then take a proctored exam. And the program is regionally accredited. I can't wait for it to finally open so things like the cost are known.
Thanks for the info. No matter what nobody can take away the knowledge already learned.
Yes. And there have been Google Engineers and other major company workers who were hired without a degree by proving their competency. A portfolio of projects can be more important than a piece of paper with an embossed seal.
