OpenStudy (anonymous):
Henri de Saint-Simon was a founder of utopian socialism. The name socialism entered the English language in 1839 and came from the French word socialisme, which was created in 1832. Pierre Leroux and Marie Roch Louis Reybaud are credited in France for putting socialism into mainstream thinking while Robert Owen is in England.
