Make a two-column proof showing statements and reasons to prove that triangle PRQ is similar to triangle PQS.

I'm not really good with proofs so any help would be very welcome.

AAS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

AAS for what?

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

similar by AA postulate they share angle P angle R = angle Q

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

geometry proofs are the worst...only thing in math i didnt like :{

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Both triangles share a congruent angle, an adjacent congruent angle, then a congruent side. Therefore they are congruent by AAS theorem.

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

@FutureMathProfessor , no you just have to show they are similar

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So how do I put the column? It's kind of confusing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's what I meant

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know that the statements go on the left and the reasons the right, but I don't know how to actually put in the properties and givens and stuff.

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

statements reasons <PRQ = <PQS Given (30 degrees) <QPR =<QPS corresponding angles property (maybe?) similar AA postulate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so much. That was my last question.
