Add 2x/x+1 + 3/x-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is your problem like as given below? \[\frac{2x}{x+1} + \frac{3}{x-2}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If yes then \[\frac{2x}{x+1} + \frac{3}{x-2} =\frac{(2x)(x-2)+3(x+1)}{(x+1)(x-2)}\] \[=\frac{2x^2-4x+3x+3}{x^2-2x+x-2}=\frac{2x^2-x+3}{x^2-x-2}\]

Thank you sooo much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is that it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, now it can't be solved any further.
