A District Court of Appeals rules that a murder conviction will not be overturned. The defense will appeal this decision to which court?

Provided that there are grounds for appeal (point of law or point of procedure) and that the initial case was in a State District court the next level of appeal would be to the State Supreme court. So I'm going to go with State Supreme Court.
