Help!! will give medal:) pic attached:) zeke's family is planning to build a new house.the floor plan is drawn to scal of 1/4in=1ft. fill in the blanks:1/4in:1ft 1in=???????ft 1in=??????in
you can use ratios to figure these out ;)
can u explain a lil more
do I take 12in/1ft=1ft/12in like that
right, because 1/4 inch=1 foot, then 1inch=4feet. Just plug in the numbers and use reasoning :)
so if 1 inch equals 4 feet, how many inches are in 4 feet?
so for the first one would it be\[\frac{ 1\in }{ 1ft }=\frac{ 4ft }{ 1\in }\]
@heather040200 ?
so 1in in 4ft?
thats right! good job
alright so how would I do the second one 1in=????
well if there are four feet in one inch, how many inches are there in four feet? this is just a simple calculation :)
one
there are 12 inches in one foot so, 12*4=?
48
