HELP find the volume and fast!! have to finish this so I can actually enjoy the rest of my summer and it just doesn't click in my head... so I just need the answer to move on with online school! https://media.glynlyon.com/g_geo_2012/8/groupi77.gif
1/3 *base area *height
the answer has to a square root, though. so idk how to do that.
the triangular base is a 45-45-90 triangle, thus we'd use the 45-45-90 rule so the missing side, the longest one is \(\bf 4\sqrt{2}\) so what's the Area of the triangular base, well, lemme stand it up |dw:1375224211827:dw| are is 1/2 base x height or \(\bf 8\sqrt{2}\)
now working on the brown triangle to get the height well notice it has a bottom side of 2, and a longest side of twice as much that means is a 30-60-90 triangle, thus we use the 30-60-90 rule that means the missing side is \(\bf 2\sqrt{3}\) so the Area of a pyramid is \(\bf \cfrac{1}{3} (\text{triangular base})(\text{height})\\ \cfrac{1}{3} (8\sqrt{2})(2\sqrt{3})\)
