Find the volume of a cylinder with radius 4 m and height 3 m. Select one: a. 7π m^3 b. 12π m^3 c. 48π m^3 d. 36π m^3

OpenStudy (zale101):

Volume of cylinder = (pi * radius^2) * (Height)

OpenStudy (zale101):

pi = 3.14 radius = 4 m height = 3 m

OpenStudy (zale101):

plug in and solve :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I keep getting 150 :/ , 3.14x4^2=50.24, and 50.24x3 =150.72 @Zale101

OpenStudy (anonymous):

150.72 is equal to 48pi, which is the correct answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answers are left in terms of pi, so the next time you see the answers in terms of pi, multiply out the numbers and leave pi there

Thankyou so much :) @vinnv226 @Zale101
