What makes the diary of Anne Frank stand out from other people that lost their life in the Holocaust?
What do you feel? I think this is more of an opinion question then anything. Something that I think makes it stand out, is the fact that they were being hidden by a non-jew, and the fact that they escaped being found once. Her diary is also detailed, and a very sad account of what she goes through. She also tries her best to maintain a normal day-to-day mentality, living out her days as if she werent sentenced to death (which she practically was). She stayed positive. But I think it's more of an opinion question, so just think about it.
thanks @shadly
There's a lot of uniqueness, in my opinion. The fact that it was written by a young girl, for example. The non-Jews hiding them, as shadly mentioned. The duration of their hiding. :) what about the book interested you the most?
