How do you raise your SmartScore? Like what do you need to do to raise each individual level

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Ja1 @thomaster

OpenStudy (preetha):

You need to answer questions and be helpful!

OpenStudy (uri):

Answer Questions,Chat,Make friends,Ask questions.

OpenStudy (ja1):

Just like Preetha said, that is the main idea here, now for a more technical breakdown we do as follows: Problem Solving: Answering questions Getting medals Teamwork: (A little more complex) Inviting friends onto the site and them signing up Fans you have and testimonials they have given you Unique people you have helped (if you help one person 77 times it does not increase as much as helping 77 different people) Using the chatbox Commenting back on questions and working together with users to solve the question. Engagement: BEING ON THE WEBSITE (Just being on everyday helps it) Medals you have received on your own question.

OpenStudy (ja1):

There is much more on this but that is the basic breakdown! @uri good job :D

OpenStudy (uri):

Engagement is NOT being on the site, its the questions you ask...like Learning.

OpenStudy (ja1):

@uri I don't like going against what you say but um.... Days Studied 87 That;s what it says under engagement.......

OpenStudy (uri):

Well both..It has the Learner title.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Be like me

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

don't worry about smart score and it will come.

thomaster (thomaster):

Amount of days on the site only helps a little. Engagement is mainly asked questions. Did you know that tagging people increases teamwork very much? The formula that calculates the smartscore is an ancient secret so we'll never know all the components that are used but I know there are many more we don't know.

OpenStudy (ja1):

Right right forgot aboutt he fact that asking also raises it @thomaster

OpenStudy (uri):

I told JA!! THATS WHAT I SAID.

OpenStudy (ja1):

Uri.... being on the site ALSO helps it out... just not as much like thom said....

OpenStudy (uri):

Well teamwork increases if you be on the site much....I'm telling you.

OpenStudy (uri):

Enagement goes pretty slowly up..You can see people who don't ask much questions have pretty low Engagement.

OpenStudy (ja1):

No that is if you use chat, coment back on questions, and work with other users...

OpenStudy (ja1):

@satellite73 has a low Engagement

OpenStudy (uri):

Exactly.

OpenStudy (ja1):

Um....okay then....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks everyone!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This really helped me out :)
