Help with Graphing Linear Equations in 2 variables ???

What's an example of something you want to graph?

-3x-7y=4 ?

Couldn't you just solve for y? by adding 3x to each side after divide by -7?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So then it would be y= -3/7x - 4/7 and you can graph that with a graphing calculator.
