Question

I'm working on PS1a. I thought I had it worked out in a pretty tidy way but the 'Total amount paid' is not working out. Is there any way to fix this without making major modifications?

It looks like you have forgotten to include the interest paid for each month. Hope that makes the difference for you.

total amount payed should be an accumulation of the 12 monthly payments - your out-of-pocket cost. you are printing the amount of principal paid.
