A data set consists of the following data points:

(3,5), (5,8), (6,13)

The slope of the best fit line is 2.5. Find the y-intercept of this line.

then if \(x\) decreases by \(3\) to get to zero, \(y\) must decrease by \(2.5\times 3=7.5\)
i would guess at \(5-7.5=-2.5\)
