solve sqrt(11-x) = sqrt(x-7) 6 7 8 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could you explain? :) @groges

OpenStudy (anonymous):

square both sides to get rid of the square root.. that leaves you with 11-x=x-7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then solve as a normal linear equation, bring x to the left and constants to the right and evaluate x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay! thanks :)
