Hmm, I'm not sure. we go right by pi/2 right?
good, so that shifts the phase
since there is no number multiplying the x, it retains its basic peroidicity
and since y = k differs from y=k+1, by 1 ... what would you say that effects?

no, the period is inside of the trig function; let k represent that trig function to clean things up
when k=0, what the affect on: y=k, and y=k+1
