Can someone plz help What is the end behavior of f(x) = –x3 + 1?

OpenStudy (phi):

is that \[ f(x)= -x^3 + 1 \] if so what do you get when you put in a big positive number for x example if x=1000, what is - 1000*1000*1000+1 as x gets bigger what is f(x) doing ?

OpenStudy (phi):

then put in a very negative number for x, example x= -1000 what is - (-1000)*(-1000)*(-1000) + 1 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it becomes positive?

OpenStudy (phi):

there are two "ends" one where x-> + infinity. and the other where x -> -infinity for x->+ infinity , what is f(x) doing ? example if x=1000, what is - 1000*1000*1000+1
