f=28.08 e=44.93

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get that @groges

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First let me make sure is it a right angled triangle u tried to draw?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay then use the rules of a right angles triangle, its easy. they are on p16 of my log tables. anyway its cosA=b/c so its cos58=f/53 = 28.08

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sin 58 degree is 0.848 and as we know sinA=height/hypotenuse,here it is e/53=sin 58 so e=0.848*53=44.94

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and tan58=e/28.08 = 44.93

Ok I get it thanks :)
