OpenStudy (anonymous):

If the point (3/5),(4/5) corresponds to an angle in the unit circle, what is csc ?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

let's take a peek at the point coordinates \(\bf \left( \cfrac{3}{5}, \cfrac{4}{5}\right) \implies (x, y) \implies \left( \cfrac{adjacent}{hypotenuse}, \cfrac{opposite}{hypotenuse}\right)\) now, \(\bf csc = \cfrac{hypotenuse}{opposite}\)

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

so, what do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

csc is simply the inverse of sin.
