first draw a line then set your compass so its just a little longer than half the length of the line draw 2 arcs with the set compass so that they intersect then draw 2 lines from the ends of the line to point where the arcs cut. you can see by observation that the vertical angle is > 90 degrees if you are not sure then check the lengths of the 3 lines a^2 > b^2 + c^2 if triangle is obtuse

1) One obtuse and 2 acute angles 2) Longest side is opposite the obtuse angle (the base) and the other sides are congruent. 3) One right and 2 acute. 4) The longest is opposite the right angle and the other sides are unequal
