I need help finding the unit vector that has the same direction as the vector v = –12j.

zepdrix (zepdrix):

|dw:1375308473285:dw| We put a little cap on the v to signify that it's the unit vector. Since the vector only has one component it's easier to find the unit vector. It's in the same direction, but with a length of 1. So it will still be going negative, in the j direction, but with a length of 1.
