Describe the transfer of energy from the glucose in food, to ATP, to a cell's movement and other functions.

That's a really vast answer. What I think you are asking is about the three most general steps - 1) Glycolysis - Glucose to Pyruvate https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/e1/Glycolysis.jpg/600px-Glycolysis.jpg 2) Krebs Cycle - Pyruvate goes through the cycle producing more NADH http://media.npr.org/assets/img/2011/09/13/krebs_cycle-46b152fcf30abdad1e42cce4ded6e2d99d00f458-s6-c30.jpg 3) Finally all those NADH get used up in the Electron transfer chain. http://giantshoulders.files.wordpress.com/2007/10/etccomplexes.jpg I hope this helps. :)
