Would I write doctor appointment, or doctor's appointment? The most credible source I found was the Western Florida Writing Lab, who advised doctor's appointment, because it's an appointment WITH a doctor. Are both acceptable?

you would write it as the Doctor's appointment because like it is said it is an appointment that belongs to the doctor, it would be preferable to use Doctor', though in today's society both would be accepted but i would recommend doctor's appointment.
