I need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

Which of these statements best proves that oceans cause climate change by transferring water from one place to another? Cold ocean water moves southward in the Pacific Ocean and brings snow and fog in coastal areas. Cold water flows north through the Atlantic Ocean and reduces the temperature of the locations near the poles. Cold ocean water flows from the north pole towards south and affects the climate of locations near the Atlantic ocean. Cold water in the Pacific Ocean becomes warm as it moves southward to the Polar Regions and helps melt the frost at the south pole.

@xenotech I really need you helps @lilylilyx2

lol i am so sorry i was just looking around and accidentally clicked here sorry! :)

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

Ohh Its okay!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

According to this map - http://www.teachoceanscience.net/teaching_resources/education_modules/observing_the_ocean/explore_ocean_physics/ I believe your answer would be C - Cold ocean water flows from the north pole towards south and affects the climate of locations near the Atlantic ocean. Hope this helps! :)

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

Thank you so oooo much!!!!!! that is what Iput !!!!!! Can u help me with another?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can try...what is it?

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

This one thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tsunami waves flood coastal and inland areas and affect coastal life. Which of these properties of tsunami waves most contribute to the flooding? the low friction of waves at the shoreline the high friction of waves at the shoreline the high amplitude of the waves at origination the long wavelength of the waves at origination

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The high friction of waves at the shoreline. I think that is the right one because as the friction increases, the amplitude increases and the wavelength decreases as it reaches near the shore. I hope this helps. :) Check out the animation - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Propagation_du_tsunami_en_profondeur_variable.gif

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

Thanks this helps a looooot!!! I thought it was D cuz someone told me that can u make that one is right or wrong??? Thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D is also right, but you have to consider the best option. The only reason why the wave increases in height is because of the friction it slows down over there resulting in accumulation of more water and increasing in the amplitude.

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

So it would be A or D then?

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

I mean B or D

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

@xenotech

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

@xenotech so is it B or D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry had to go....It's B

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

Thanks!!!
