At what points during the year are fish-which need a large amount of dissolved oxygen-most likely to avoid the deepest part of a lake that freezes over in winter? Spring and Summer, Fall and Winter, Spring and Fall, Summer and Winter Please help, I honestly have no clue. I know it is not fall and winter. I was thinking summer and winter.
@sagnik_das can you help?
dissolved oxygen is needed when fish cant come upper portion of the pond,so at winter the surface of pond is frozen,at that time fish need an extra DO.and in fall there is excessive growth of microorganism in pond,because there is much organic things in pond,which is to be oxidised.so in fall the BOD of pond is more,so then DO is less in pond,so in winter and in fall DO is needed in excessive amount by fishes,either they die
thanks so much man you explained it so well you have a new fan :)
you are welcome.:)
