ummm. idk this but i can try. 20 * 6= 120 ;12 *5=60 ; 120+60=180(vertices)??

each polygon also has certain number of edges; ie: triangle: 3 pentagon: 5

So use root of each word to determin the number of edges and sides? ie: TRIangle 3 vertices 3 edges ; HEXagon 6 vertices 6 edges

oh yeah, and for the relation to find the number of vertices. the number of vertices is always equal to the number of sides, i guess
