Look at the polygon below. An isosceles trapezoid. The base angles measure 50 degrees each. The other pair of angles measures 130 degrees each Part 1. On your own paper, create a tessellation using this polygon. Your tessellation should include a point where four such polygons meet. You will not turn this part in to your instructor. Part 2. Which transformations did you use? Explain why it is possible to tessellate this figure.
