please help me.. can you explain a simple way to do this? Write the equation of the line in slope-intercept form with a slope of 2 and a y-intercept of -3.

yes it should actually say "write" not "find" because there is nothing to find here if the slope is \(m\) and the \(y\) intercept is \(b\) then the equation is \[y=mx+b\]

replace \(m\) by \(2\) and \(b\) by \(-3\) and you are done
