log24

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Clarify what it is: \[\Large \log_2 4\] \[\Large \log 24\] And asking a question will help. log24 is not a question.

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

its the first one

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

First change the 4 into 2^2\[\Large \log_2 4 = \log_2 2^2\] Then use this log rule\[\Large \log a^b = b \log a\]essntially you bring down the exponent in front of the log: \[\Large2 \log_2 2\] Now use this rule to finish \[\Large \log_a a = 1\]

OpenStudy (shamim):

if it is log24 then wt will b the result

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

The result will be what a calculator tells you.

OpenStudy (shamim):

i wanna know the procedure

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Of how to evaluate log24 by hand? Trial and error i guess...
