Part 1: Describe the graphs of the functions f(x) = 2x – 3 and g(x) = –2x – 3. (3 points) Part 2: Compare and contrast the domain and range of f(x) and g(x). (3 points) My answer: Part 1: the first graph f(x) = 2^x – 3 is a exponential function which curves up forever and to the left negative side forever. However the second graph g(x) = –2^x – 3 is a exponential function which curves down forever and to the left negative side forever. Part 2: the domain and range are all real numbers.
