There are six problems for this assessment.

        Problems 1 and 2: Construct congruent triangles using a compass and straightedge on your own paper.
            Construct one triangle using SAS.
            Construct one triangle using SSS.

            Because you are making constructions, your compass and straightedge images should show the arcs you used to create the construction. Do not erase these markings. This is how you "show your work" with constructions!

            To send the congruent triangles you constructed by hand, you can scan your construction, take a picture of it, or use any other format that will work for you. Then make sure you paste the picture in a document file and send that to your teacher.
        Problems 3 and 4: Construct congruent triangles using computer technology.
            Construct one triangle using SAS.
            Construct one triangle using SSS.

            To send the congruent triangles from GeoGebra, make sure you save your work as a ggb file. You can do this by going to the "File" menu at the top of the screen and selecting "Save As". You may also use another drawing program, but it must be saved as a dynamic file so your teacher can go through and see your steps.
        Problem 5: Choose one of the triangles from problems one through four and explain, using complete sentences, how a congruent triangle was constructed using both a compass and straightedge and with computer technology.
        Problem 6: Choose one of the triangles from problems one through four and explain, using complete sentences, why the given triangle is congruent to the triangle you constructed.

                    Original and copied triangles using SAS and SSS with a compass
                    Original and copied triangles using SAS and SSS with GeoGebra
                    Answers to question 5 for BOTH compass and GeoGebra constructions
                    Answer to question 6
