Solve for x. 2/x+3/5=22/5x I got this far: 10/5x + 3x/5x = 22 but i don't know what else to do after this. I do know that the answer is x = 4 but how do i get it? Thanks~

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

try multiplying both sides by "5x"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

on the right side of your equation, it should still be 22/5x, not just 22

@robz8 i though you'd cancel out 5x on that side
