The sum of four consecutive integers is 286. Find the Integers.

let the smallest integer be defined as x, then x+(x+1)+(x+2)+(x+3) = 286 then solve for x
please show step to solve of x??
Just combine all the x terms and the constants: 4x + 6 = 286 subtract 6 from both sides 4x = 280 divide by 4 x = 70 So, your integers are 70, 71, 72, 73
