The graph shown is the graph of f(x) = cos(x). http://curriculum.kcdistancelearning.com/courses/GEOMx-HS-A09/b/assessments/R-GraphingTrigonometricFunctionsQuiz/Geometry_8%203_Quiz_FINAL_15q.png true or false?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are a few characteristics you should know about cosine(x). First, cos(0)=1. Secondly, the period (the time it takes to complete one full curve) is 2pi (360 degrees). Finally, the minimum is -1 and the max is 1. That being said, the picture is accurate and is cos(x).

ah! my hero!!

@vinnv226 so then this is false right? The domain of f(x) = cos(x) is all real numbers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is true. The domain is the set of x values that you can plug in to it. The cosine curve goes forever to the left and right. You can plug in any real number and it will work. So the domain is all reals.

ohhhh i c

@vinnv226 can you help me with this one? the other guy wouldnt help http://openstudy.com/updates/51fbf8f5e4b0cc46c14a5705
