Which of the following is a primary result of twentieth-century technological innovations such as computers and robots?
Is there choices.?
The development of microelectronics for the space race in 50's and 60', paid by government, brought about private industry of home computers in the 70's, internet in the 90's also developed by government around 1970, and present cell phones. These alone has changed the lives of future generations. Robotics changed industry entirely, with more accuracy and less time in construction, the ordinary skilled laborer is waning requiring a new breed of educated workers to work with and calibrate/repair robots. This will be the only way we will be able to compete globally, otherwise the older skilled jobs will be outsourced. With the development of AI, artificial intelligence, a lot of jobs will also be lost leaving it machines that will work more efficiently. Sixty years ago all this was science fiction but today its becoming science fact and we have to deal with it, good jobs will be at a premium leaving only service sector employment which at present is very low pay.
there is sorry i am new to this.
