It's a disease in the kidneys, the proximal renal tubules to be precisely. It causes failure in reabsorbing electrolytes and nutrition (amino acids, glucose, bicarbonate, phosphate and uric acid)
what causes it?
Poisoning by heavy metals. But it can also be inherited.
