What's the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a log is the power or exponent to which the base must be raised in order to produce the number. for a example Log 8 base 2 = 3 because 2^3 = 8 0.903089987/ 0.301029996 = 3 there use because you can multiply or divided by adding and subtracting example : 2 * 3 = 6 log(2) + log(3) = log(6) 0.301029996 +0.47712126 = 0.778151250384 10^ 0.778151250384 = 6 ( the 10^ is the antilog or arc log fuction ) 6/2 = 3 log(6) - log(2) = log(3) 0.778151250384 - 301029996 = 0.47712126 10^ 0.47712126 = 3
