21) evaluate it please 36 /4.3-(-25)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

33.37

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how you got 33.37

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just typed it into a calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you do 36/4.3 first then subtract -25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use PEMDAS Please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are no ( ) or exponents so move on to Division and Multiplication 36/4.3 which is 8.37. Then move on to Addition and Subtraction there is no adding so you subtract negative 25 which you cannot subtract a negative so you add the 25 NOT subtract it. So 8.37 plus 25 is 33.37 Get it?

it is 52 Use * for multiplication, / for division, and ^ for exponentiation. You can also use math functions such as sqrt() exp(), ln(), cos() and sin(). Also, ch(n, k) will evaluate "n choose k". For example, ch(4,2) = 6 fac(n) is n! - so for example, fac(4) = 24. Finally, you can sum a series with the sigma command. For example, sigma[2, 6,1/k^2] evaluates the sum from k=2 to k=6 of the expression 1/k^2. Note that [ ]'s are used in sigma and not parentheses. The summation variable must be k. I did not got it can anyone explain
