OpenStudy (amistre64):

compound it for 6 months

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what does that mean?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you have a compound interest formula right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no what is it?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you may need to review your material ....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

$5,166.51 that's what I got

OpenStudy (amistre64):

thats possible, the question is how would you arrive at that solution?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4,531 multiplied by .02654

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then added on to the 4531

OpenStudy (amistre64):

well, that results doesnt end up with that solution 4531*.02654 = 120.25; which added back in is about 4700

OpenStudy (amistre64):

5166 is correct tho: the formula would amount to\[B(1+\frac r{12})^{12*1/6}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think I reworded it worng but thank you!

OpenStudy (amistre64):

good luck :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks :)
