Explain how understanding the Fundamental Theorem of Algebra and using the graphing calculator can help in solving a polynomial function that is a fourth degree polynomial.

Use the calculator to find all the real roots, then use factoring or long division to find any remaining imaginary roots, until you've found four. FTA states that a polynomial has as many roots as it's degree... fourth degree means four total roots.
