Whats is the difference between f(x) and g(x)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they r 2 different functions :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I understand, but if i were to graph one of each, both with the same function. What would the difference be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nothing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think they were be the same

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Describe the graphs of the functions f(x) = 2x – 1 and g(x) = –2x – 1. So there would be no difference in this situation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no no, in this case there will be defference

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But what about the negative two in g(x)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(x) and g(x) are different functions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, thanks.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you get it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah. Thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good
