HELP !!!!!!!!!!!! Name the kind or kinds of symmetry the letters B, C, H, A and the number 3 have! (plane, point, line or none.)

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

You must experiment and imagine. Point: If you stick a pin in the letter and spin it a bit. Do you get the same thing? Line: If you fold it, somewhere, do the two halves match up? Devise other such experiments.

and what about plane...?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

You will not be doing any devising? I'm not real clear on "plane" symmetry with these 2-dimensinoasl objects. Maybe if you flip it over, do you get the same thing? In 2-d, though, that's the same as line symmetry. Keep in mind that there may be more than one kind for the same letter.

thank you
